Louise Behrman , Joseph Surns , Mary Marsters , <br /> Carol Jacobson, Heather Urquhart , Elliot <br /> Rosenberg and ssoc'i ate Member Patrick "Coffey. <br /> Lisa Hanscom, Conservation A Sent, was present also. <br /> Selectman Jeremy Carter came before the- board on behalf alf of the <br /> Selectmen and the dredging project. He stated the path has been cone <br /> and the roses planted. He felt the state will be pleased and. he will <br /> send a letter to them with a copy to the Commission stating they have <br /> complied. <br /> He advised that Bob Braman and Chet Koblinsky are concerned with <br /> the condition requirin � ha bales on the beach as they are cumbersome <br /> e <br /> and -the expense i major .- factor. They feel this is not necessary. <br /> Ms Behrman stated, in looking through the files, hay ales' were on the <br /> original Notice of Intent and on the . plans they had drawn up. <br /> Mr. Carter stated they would like to have the Commission consider <br /> alternative measures and are rwequest i ng a, mod i f ica ion of the Notice <br /> of 'Intent to exclude the haybales. They would be. willing to cooperate <br /> on -any alternative suggested by the Comm i ss.i on . <br /> Hs f3ehr-wan asked the measures being taken to ensure that -whenever~ the <br /> grass is in , people' s tresspass will be minimized and Mr. Carter <br /> -stated he was told the best time to plant the grass is November o <br /> December. Ms Behrman stated the root growth does not occur until the <br /> weather warms up and suggested some publicity- to educate people to not <br /> tread on the newly - planted area as well as three signs posted; two on <br /> the shoreward end at access . oo ints and one off the dirt road, Mr.. <br /> Crter agreed to go back to the DPW and dredging company to .ask for <br /> t-he signs e <br /> ,Ms Hanscom suggested putting in a wood post at least every 15 feet- to <br /> keep the snowfence standing and asked that the fence be maintained. <br /> Mr . Carter stated the DPW will be putting up the fence and wiil be in <br /> charge of maintenance . He had no problem with the wood posts. The <br /> dredging project will be finished the first week in December and they <br /> have begun to cover the washed out areas. <br /> Ms Behrman suggested he check with the state to see if they want straw <br /> mulch around the Rosa Rugosa,, <br /> i - Dolphin Bay OSID Project Informal Discussion. Kevin Kirrane <br /> presented a pr liminary plan which is before the Planning Board - for- a <br /> development on 56 total acres of - land; 26 acres scheduled for <br /> development with the remainder conveyed to the town under OSID. The <br /> proposal calls for constr ction .of 105 attached single family dwell- <br /> ings. A pro le .with the site is that a certain portion that called <br /> ` r providing access to the project is abutting and would run over <br />
