I <br /> MASHPEE CONSERVATION COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of 20 February 1997 <br /> Commissioners present: John Fitzsimmons, Elliot Rosenberg,erg, Ralph <br /> Shaw, George Green Jr., John Johansen, <br /> Harry Desrosiers. <br /> The Chairman c Ied the meeting ing to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> 6:55 PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: lone. <br /> 7:25 MARY BURKE for a Determination of Applicability on proposed <br /> dismantling and removal of an existing dwelling, reconstruction and addition <br /> of a second story, breezeway addition, screened porch and 10 foot addition to <br /> an existing garage at 22 Ston Way. Torn.O'Neidl presenting. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if this is a complete dismantling? Mr. O'Neill stated no, <br /> they are adding a second floor using the existing foundation and renovating <br /> off that. Also, they are taping a portion of the garage and putting in a laundry <br /> room. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated if a sentence is added to the request that an on-site will <br /> e held with the contractor prior to the start of work to establish work its. <br /> Mr. Green asked if a plan could be required? Mr. Sherman stated without an <br /> on-site he would be leery of this plan, Mr. 'NeM stated he wM provide a plan <br /> already on ale with the Building Inspector. <br /> Public comments: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find a negative determination upon <br /> receipt of a proper plan. Unanimous vote. <br /> N GATIPENDING. <br /> +7:30 ROBERT R CHE, 6 Great River Road, continued from 23 January <br /> 1997. Mr. Roche presenting. The previous searing was continued in order to <br /> explore other possibilities. Mr. Roche looped at gabions with Dill Lewis. This <br /> is a viable alternative but triples the cost of the project. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated another possibility is fiber rods although not as long- <br /> lasting. <br /> o g- <br /> asting. <br />
