Robertson <br /> A. Rockwood <br /> A. Tanneyhill <br /> B. Towner <br /> II Minutes of P evious Meeting; Correction : The name of Barbara <br /> Towner , among - the new Trustees sworn in , was omitted . The <br /> minutes were accepted with this correction, : <br /> III Reports <br /> A. Librarian : The w itt-en report was accepted . Mrs . Kingsley <br /> noted that additional contributions in memory of. Margaret <br /> Sturtevant - there 1s now $540 in the account . Some con- <br /> tributors have suggested the kinds of books they shared with <br /> Mrs . Sturtevant , especially those about New England, and <br /> Thornton. Burgess stories . Since the Burgess Society donates <br /> books to libraries and schools (and has not donated to the <br /> Ma hp a Public Library in some time) , Mrs , Kingsley said she <br /> would look into the matter of another donation of Burgess <br /> books from the Society . <br /> t <br /> B fr iends : Mrs . Fordham noted that Mr. David Palmer , heir o <br /> Dr. Shields Warren , responded to her request for a gift , <br /> with a check for $500 to the Friends for the building equipment <br /> and furnishings account .. Four hhndre,d and eighty-three - 4 <br /> dollars has been received to date from sale of Raffle tickets , <br /> The prizes will be exhibited in the window ofForget-Me-Not Florist . <br /> The picture--taping of the new typewriter presentation is scheduled <br /> for Thursday at 4.- PM, <br /> It was moved by B . Towner and seconded by 0. Robertson that a <br /> letter of thanks and appreciation be sent to the Friends from the <br /> Trustees for the gift of the typewriter. <br /> C. Buildi.ng Committee : The architects will complete work on .Tune 26 , <br /> which coincides with the last meeting of the current year . The <br /> committee will meet on Wednesday , June 20 a :00 PM with the <br /> Selectmen. <br /> V Old Business <br /> A. Parking_: The' parki,ng lot lines drawing prepared ,by Ernest <br /> Virgilio was reviewed and did not atiafy the Trustees . It had <br /> not been drawn, to scale, and did not appear to allow for <br /> sufficient parking spaces . Mr . vi.rgilio 's memorandum 'indicated <br /> 5 <br />■ <br />
