BOARD of LIBRARY TRUSTEES <br /> REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING <br /> TUESDAY,AUGUST 13,2002 <br /> MASHPEE LIBRARY MEETING Roots <br /> Present: Helene DeFoe,David Burton, Ann MacDonald-Dailey, Dianna Smith,Mini <br /> Marsh, Carlo 'Este, and Alice Raupplus. <br /> Absent: Gary Eynatian. <br /> A quote being present David Burton, Chairman,called the meeting to order at 6-30 <br /> p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes of July 93,2002 <br /> Dianna motioned to accept the July 9 minutes as written; Ann seconded this motion; and <br /> it was unanimously passed. <br /> _exit Meeti <br /> Tuesday, September 10,2002,at 6:3 0 p.r . in Library Meeting Room. <br /> lie its <br /> Helene DeFoe, Library Director, distributed copies of her July 2002 Report, as well as <br /> Janet Burke's monthly report. Both reports are attached to these minutes. In addition, <br /> Helene briefly discussed the following points: <br /> • Circulation for month of,duly was 128 more items than July of last year. <br /> 'leers for Internet stations are working; people are getting off promptly; making <br /> it fair to all so on a whole is a good thing. <br /> New signs for the Library are being provided by Town. New signs for hours are <br /> completed and look nice, Also, Town is replacing sign along Rt. 15 1. <br /> o Children's Library Report...Helene noted Janet has been extremely busy with <br /> programs offered. <br /> Artisan's Fair <br /> Consensus of the Trustees was that the musical program added a lot to the <br /> Artisan's Fair. <br /> Plant man had beautiful plants...most people.bought plants from him. <br /> David advised the Trustees that although final numbers not yet finalized, the <br /> Artisan's Fair was an u.n ualified success all the way around. He said the raffle <br /> was an overwhelming success, He noted the Fair is our single largest find raiser. <br />
