May 10 , 1988 <br /> t . <br /> Regular and Executive Sessions with the followin -amendment; - R - <br /> Regular Session, page 2 , Appointments & Hearings � , paragraph <br /> should read "The owners were requested to have their attorneys prepare <br /> an agreement stating that they understand that the Town of Mashpee would <br /> be held harmless for anything that occurs on that property due to <br /> Shell' s and Andy ' s Market encroachments . Mr. Carter seconded the <br /> motion. All were in favor. Mr. Hanson was not present for the vote , <br /> i <br /> Mr. Gottlieb moved to accept the minutes of Monday, May 16 , 1988 <br /> Regular and Executive Sessions . Mr. Carter seconded the motion . All <br /> ere in favor. Mr. Hanson was not present for the vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . Continuance of the Camp Farley Sign hearing held on May 10 , 1988 . <br /> Mr. Lawrence suggested that the hearing be adjourned and that <br /> the matter be taken under advisement until such time that town <br /> counsel prepares regulations regarding this type of issue; <br /> (where the town is held harmless in the event of an accident <br /> due to the presence of the sign on town property. . Mr. Fudala responded <br /> that the Carry would be willing to sign this type of indemnification , <br /> 2 . Joint Meeting with Finance Committee <br /> 1 . Mr. Carter moved -to reappoint Joyce Howell for one year to replace <br /> Louise Misurella. Mrs . Jacobson seconded the motion. All were <br /> in favor. <br /> 2 . Beach Stickers - Finance Committee felt than the new fee for <br /> Beach Stickers is too low. Mr. Lawrence stated again that <br /> the residents of the Town are not offered enough services for <br /> their money and that raising beach sticker fees would not bring <br /> in enough money to make a difference. Mr. Carter stated that <br /> the rates are high enough as they are. Mr. Gottlieb and Mr. <br /> Hanson felt that the rates should be raised. Mr. Murphy stated <br /> that in FY-87 2 , 038 stickers were sola with a total revenue of <br /> $18 , 018 . <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />
