Mr. Santos <br /> seconded the notion. Motion passed. <br /> 3. Memo from flown Administrator re: 'Transfer Station I Landfill.Engineering <br /> Services <br /> In his memo Mr. W rit n ur stated that he would like to see an RFP for the <br /> engineering services for the town transfer station. <br /> Mr. Doherty indicated that he was in favor of the Board of selectmen handling <br /> the Request for Proposals, however he would like the Board ofHealth to review <br /> all documents relating to this Process. <br /> Board acknowledged. <br /> . Meme from 'Town Administrator re: Waste stream Issues <br /> Mr. Santos stated that,he has serious problems with the minutes from the <br /> Board ofSelectmen's meeting of,July 10, 2000. He stated that the minutes coo <br /> not reflect what he understood the agreement to be. <br /> Mr. Santos stated, "The minutes are so vague, I don't know how they could <br /> even approve these minutes. The way that I understand it is that the way the <br /> transfer station has been run was the way it was going to stay. The only thing - <br /> that the Selectmen were going to oversee was if there were any changes to the <br /> contract or with the contractor or change orders, any monies to do withthe <br /> contracting. I can't understand that all of a sudden they are saying that they <br /> are in charge of waste strum funding and Policy direction. Then what do you <br /> call the day to day operations " <br /> Mr. Doherty directed IVIS. Warden to send a memo to the Board of Selectmen <br /> saying that as of July 1st they should be prepared to talo over the entire <br /> transfer station operation. <br />
