Garland and Willard L. <br /> Danson, Executive Secretary Joseph F. Murphy. <br /> GUESTS: Donald F. Sabens , Carl E. Galasso, Curtis Toodbiry.., Judy Howell, <br /> `ane Peterson, Robert Sanders , Mary Carlson, Richard .Carlson,, Deborah <br /> Louden, Marr A. .-Chambers , Arthur .Joia, Jr, , Frank Silva, Susan Schoec , <br /> Richard Murray and Nancy Murray, Bob Courtemanche, Richard Cook. <br /> Motion by Sel. Garland to approve the minutes of the - April 27, 1983 <br /> with ith the amendment of the name Nor.. Burlingame, Seconded by Set. Danson. <br /> This is a vote. <br /> 00 p-,,m, - Public -Hearing on the liquor license of Ottavio & Emma, Inc. d/b/a <br /> Carl. 1.s of New, Seab'ury,. Chm.. Thomas' noted the legal ad in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise. Mr. Card, Galasso, manager of the establishment <br /> gave the Board the return rete-ipts for notification of abutters . <br /> He also requested the Board accept the change of name of the pre- <br /> mises from Carl I s at New Seaburto only 'Card. I s . Board concurred, <br /> Motion by Sr el, Garland to approve the'. liquor license. Seconded by <br /> Set, Danson.. This is a unanimous vote. No one opposed. <br /> Hearing cloe 'at 2 : 05 p.m. <br /> The next public hearing was scheduled for 2 : 15 p.m. , therefore the Board, went <br /> to old business. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 2. Motion by Sel. Garland and seconded by Sel. Danson to award the beach <br /> concession bid to Nelson' s Catering Service for $1050 , 00, and further <br /> award the portable toilet bid to Cape Cod Sand Castles , Inc. This is <br /> a vote. <br /> 4, ) Motion by Sel. Garl axed to rescind the Boards motion of August 1982 for <br /> the State & County Aid to Highway Contract number 299550 Seconded by <br /> Sel. Danson._ This is a vote . Executive Secretary explained that since <br /> the construction on this contract has not started, he and the Town Accountant <br /> feel this contract should be voided. <br /> : 1 p:m, Mr, kJoia asked if he could tape the dog hearing. Chat-. Thomas <br /> answered in- the affirmative. Board conducted the public hearing <br /> on Mr. Joials dog "Bear" . Ms . Susan Schoeck the coy pl ainti f f <br /> said that Mr. Joia I s dog is an on doing problem. He is a nuisance. <br /> She said that the court had ,issued a restraining order on the dog <br /> and that this is an on going problem. Chm. Thomas asked if the <br /> dog was ever restrained. Ms . Schoeck said that' he was for a couple <br /> f months than he is let loose. agai.n. The clog was still loose <br /> when he was on count order. Mr. Stanley Grass attested to everything <br /> Nis , Schoeck said. He also said that Bear eats his dog' s food. <br /> Ms. Mary Carlson said that her boy who is a 'aper boy got bit. <br /> Mr. Robert Sanders , Natural Resource officer/Dock Officer gave <br /> his report. Mr. Silva the Sandwich dog officer colaborat s what <br /> everyone has said against the dog. He feels the dog is Vicious. <br />
