Thomas Devane, <br /> Mr, Robert Deiory, Mr. John Malone and the Taxpayers Association. <br /> 6 :00 p.m. - chairman Garland convened the February 1, 1984 , elec.tmeri' s <br /> meeting. <br /> Notion by Selectman' Terry to approve the minutes of the January 18 , <br /> 1984 and January 25 , 1984 regular meetings as written:'`-j 'e nde-l--by h firman <br /> Garland. This is a vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> 6 : 00 p.m. - Chm. Garland convened the: public hearing on the Federal <br /> Revenue Sharing. Executive secretary noted that no o.ne <br /> was in the cafeteria. Chm. Garland asked if there were <br /> any recommendations. Executive Secretary recommended <br /> that $2500 be expanded and appropriated as article- 22 <br /> of the special town meeting states for Council on Aging <br /> to buy a refrigerator, copy machine and radiation for <br /> the Senior Center Annex. Board concurred ,and Chm. Ga hand <br /> stated that no action was necessary on this request, He <br /> further asked if anyone present had any other comments. <br /> Hearing none Chm. Garland closed the hearing at 6 : 03 p.m. <br /> 6 : 03 .p.m., Chm. Garland convened the' public hearing on Nr. Raphael <br /> Collins' application to operate a taxi cab service. Mr. <br /> Collins was present. Cham. Garland hoted that the hearing <br /> had been advertised.. Executive secretary, Joseph F. Murphy, <br /> stated that there was comrâ–ºunication on this matter from <br /> the Police Chief and the Building Inspector per the Board' s <br /> request. <br /> Chm. Garland said that there were two facts that had to <br /> be presented. The first is that there is no provision <br /> in our zoning by-lags that allows the operation of this <br /> service from a residential area; and, secondly no arrangements <br /> have been made with lir.
