BOARD OF SELECTMEN MEETING. - <br /> March <br /> EETING. - <br /> arch 1 , 1984 <br /> PRESENT: Chairman Chester A. Garlandl Selectmen Willard L. Hanson and <br /> Richard L. Terror, Town -Counsel- -Joseph J. Reardon, Executive <br /> Secretary Joseph F. Mu-rphy. <br /> GUESTS: Mrs. B. Jean Thomas, Mr, Vernon Thomas , - Attorney John Bush, <br /> Mrs.. Joyce Howell, 1' r. Ralph Swartz , Police Chief Curtis Frere <br /> and Mr, Ernest Virgilio. <br /> Chairman Garland convened the meeting at 6 : 00 p.. . <br /> Motion by Sel,. Hanson to approve the minutes of the March 6 , 1984 <br /> Administrative Meeting and the- March 7 , 1984 Regular , and Executive Sessions. <br /> Seconded by Chrn.- Garland. This is a -vote. <br /> Chin. Garland made rote that the administrative meeting of March 6 . 1984 <br /> had been posted. <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS <br /> 00p. n. Chm. Garland opened, the public hearing on the application <br /> of Daniel J. Yacuzo to transfer the common victualer wine <br /> and malt license to the Poppornesset Corporation and to expand <br /> the described premises. Executive Secretary Joseph F. Murphy <br /> explained that the transfer of the license was from Daniel <br /> Yacu zo to Mr, Swartz , Manager. <br /> Attorney Bush representing New Seabury stated that the expan- <br /> sion was to add twenty seats. He cave each of the Selectmen <br /> a plan showing the addition which includes- a gazebo. <br /> Sed.. Terror questioned the addition and the .entrance, He said <br /> that he requires better plans- in order to make a decision on <br /> this ratter. He also stated that he would not be reader to <br /> Grote on this matter tonight. <br /> Ch . Garland said that if the Board had no objections he <br /> would accept a continuance. <br /> Sel. Terror moved for a continuance of one week so that the <br /> applicants can. provide the Board with a better plan showing <br /> elevations and floor plan. <br /> Sel. Hanson suggested that the plans be delivered before <br /> next Wednesday, He recommended the plans be brought in <br /> by Monday. <br /> Mr. Swartz asked how precise the plans had to be. Sel. Term <br /> answered that they had to be something that the Board could <br /> hold thea to. <br /> S <br /> Hearing continued to Wednesday, March 21f 1984- at 7 : 30 p. . <br />
