Murphy. <br /> GUESTS : Mr. Curtis Woodbury, Mr, Vernon Thomas, Mr, Chester Koblinsky, Ms. <br /> Arlene Hoxie, Mr. Frank Hoy eye r and Ms . Jane - William. <br /> list of persons attending the meeting with the Corps of Engineers <br /> eers <br /> is attached. <br /> Mr. Homeyer asked that the Board contact the Governor' s office and get <br /> Ms . Ham appointed to the Mashpee Housing Authority. Sel. Terry will pursue. <br /> Sel. Terry also asked what was happening with the meeting that was to be <br /> et up with- Mr, Samuelson from the postal service. Mr. Murphy replied <br /> r <br /> that a letter had been sent but no reply had been received as yet. <br /> Nor. Murphy will pursue. <br /> 7 :00 p.m. - Chan. Hanson convened the May 16F 1984 Selectmen' s meeting at <br /> 7 : 00 p.m. <br /> Mr. Murphy recommended the Board reorganize, Sel. Terry nominated Sel. <br /> Hanson as Chairman of the Board. This motion was seconded by Sel. Thomas <br /> This is a vote. chat. Hansom nominated Sel, Terry as vice-Chairman, seconded <br /> by Sel. Thomas. This is a vote. Sel. Terry nominated Sel. Thomas as clerk <br /> of the Board. This was seconded by Chm. Hanson. - This is a vote. <br /> AZ <br /> Board recessed to' . the cafeteria for a meeting with the Corps of - Engineers . <br /> Representatives of the corps of Engineers were Mr. Richard DeSimone, Mr. <br /> Collis Adams and Mr. buss Bellmer. They came to discuss the proposed <br /> dredging of Popponesset Bay. Mr. DeSimone informed everyone that this <br /> did not meet the economic critirea and therefore it was unlikely that <br /> navigational ational im ro ements could be funded by the federal. government. <br /> Discussion continued on how the Town could renourish the Spit and the need <br /> to stabilize the Spit. Terry to approve the minutes o�f the May. 8, .1984 Administrative <br /> meeting and the minutes of the May 9, 1984 Regular meeting. Seconded. by <br /> Chr . Hanson. Sel , Thomas abstained. This is a vote. <br /> OLD BUSINESS : <br /> l. - motion by Sel. Terry to appoint Ms , March Dardano to- the Conservation <br /> commission for a term of three years. Seconded by Sed.. Thomas. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
