41, BOARD SELECTMEN MEETING APRIL 23 , 1986 REGULAR MEETING Members Present : Richard L. Terry, B . Jean Thomas , Willard L. Hanson, Executive secretary Joseph F . Murphy The meeting was called to order at 7 :00 . Minutes Selectman Thomas moved to accept the minutes of the larch 19, 1986 regular meeting and the executive session minutes of March 19, l • It was seconded by Selectman Hanson and was a vote , As there 7: 00 appointment hadn't arrived, the selectmen roved to old business Old Business l The Board reviewed a memo from the Harbormaster regarding is article on the annual town meeting warrant to purchase an outboard motor. Based bn his memo, selectman Thomas moved to i reject the bid received from Gun & Tackle . Selectman Hanson seconded and it was a vote . 2) The 'Board reviewed a memo from the D.P.W. Director regarding bids for the lease of trucks . Based on his memo, Selectman Thomas moved to reject all bids received for the trucks Selectman Hanson seconded and it was a vote . Mr. Virgilio said he would like to still keep the article on the . warrant and request $35,000. The Board had reservations with this procedure of requesting money before you know what you're buying , The Board agreed they would rather go to a fall special town meeting with an exact figure , Appointments 7 :15 -ft Selectman Thomas moved to go into executive session t discuss possible acquisition of land with the Board of Appeals and they will reconvene in ten minutes . Selectman Hanson voted yes and also Selectman Terry voted yes . 7 :45 - selectman Thomas moved t approve the request to change the manager from Chris Kuebler to Lawrence Drago at the New s e abury Country Club. Selectman Hans n seconded and it was a vote , 7 :45 - Selectman Thomas moved to approve the change of manager from Ralph Swartz to Bob Soulo at Popponesset Corporation d7b/a Marketplace Raw Bar and Cafe . -Selectman mans on seconded and it was a vote 7 : 00(7:48) - Douglas Storrs came before the Board, regarding the layout of Job 's Fishing Road . Selectman Hanson moved that the Board accept the plan and profile ofJob 's Fishing Road which was authorized by the special town meeting of May 1985 . Selectman Thomas seconded and it was a vote . The Board signed the plans . The Board discussed with the Mr. Storrs and Mr. Vit ilio .n-- emergency water supply.
