The first order of business was the reorganization of the Board. Selectman Thomas being price-chairman opened the floor for nominations . Selectman Thomas stated the usual procedure is the person who is up for re-election should be chairman. But, she has., done her time as price-chairman and clerk and therefore should be considered for- chairman. Selectman Lawrence agrees the person up for re-election should be chairman . He would like to see a rotation system established for future years . Selectman Thomas felt unless it was a. .b r-lair it would not happen. Selectman Lawrence nominated Selectman Willard Hanson as cha-irman, Selectman B . Jean Thomas as vice-chairman and Selectman Peter Lawrence as clerk . Selectman Hanscn seconded. Motion carried. Selectman Thomas pc1led the Board; Selectman Lawrence in favor, Selectman Hanson in favor, Selectman Thomas opposed to the chairmanship. anship.
