" Mr. Gottlieb roved that the <br /> minutes of the meeting held on Jure 17 , 1987, Regular Session be <br /> i accepted after amendments as noted 'above and that the minutes for <br /> the Executive Session o the same.. date be accepted as presented , ff <br /> Mr. Lawrence seconded the -motion. The vote was unanimous . <br /> 4 <br /> (Note : This meeting proceeded out of order of the agenda as schedu'ied..) <br /> APPOINTMENTS AND H.E AR I NGS . <br /> 1. TOwing_ Regulations . Regulations relative to towing <br /> were proposed by the Police Department and copies of the proposed <br /> regulations were submitted to the Board for review and discussion, <br /> Deputy Chief of Police Cooper was present and clarified se e a■l poirnts <br /> of concern of the two towing companies . Mrs . Thomas stated that public <br /> notice of this hearing appeared in the Jure 8t 1987 ,issue of the <br /> Enterprise . Several proposed charges were discussed which were iters <br /> in the proposed regulations to which agreement was not completely satis- <br /> factory. Deputy Chief,. Cooper will present adraft satisfactory to all <br /> Parties after further discussion with the towing companies ' owners , <br /> This matter was taken under advisement by the Board of Selectmen and <br /> will be placed on the agenda of a regular meeting of the Board at a <br /> later date . <br /> OLD BUSINESS : <br /> l e Petition �- -- New n Telephone . e aring was <br /> heldori June 15, 1987 at to: A. M. with Joseph Murphy being the <br /> hearing officer. Notices of the hearing were mailed at least seven <br /> days before said easing to each of the owners of re .l estate of <br /> record abutting the pants of ways which are affected by the above- <br /> cited <br /> bove-cited petition. Ronald P. T ibodeau of New England Telephone appeared <br /> in behalf of the petition. No other persons attended the hearing which <br /> was for the placement of a. conduit at South sandwich Road. Mr. <br /> Gottlieb moved that the Board approve the Petition #87-554 f New <br /> England Telephone as presented. lir.
