JP BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES 1 TUESDAY, APRIL 169 1991 Present: Selectman Carter, Selectman Hanson, Selectman Lawrence Executive Secretary Kevin Je Harrington Town 0jounsel Joseph J. Reardon Absent; Selectman Gottlieb, Selectman Jacobson Guests: Paul Ott, George Costa, Diane F oz mel ever, Al Polsi, Bill and Betty Jones The Meeting was Called to Order by Chairman Carter at 7oO7 p.m. The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to approve the minutes of April 1, 1991. The motion was seconded by Selectman Hanson. The Vote is unanimous to approve the past minutes APPOINTMENTS N 1 INGS 7: 08 Puma feasonal Liu License - Eleanor J. Woolf: Selectman Lawrence has stepped down for this hearing. Eleanor Woolf was present to discuss the application for seasonal wine and malt package store license with the Board. Ms. w lf states she is the only con `i enc a store in Mashpee that doesn' t carry beer or wine. Many customers ask for it and the nearest store of any kind is 4.5 miles away. The existing store services New Sea. ury and residents of Popponessett. A small percentage of the store would occupy the space for the beer and wine. Based on the fact that this would service the residents of New Seal ury and Popponessett mainly, the motion was made by Selectman Hanson to grant the seasonal beer* and wine license to Eleanor Woolf d/b/a Popponessett General. Store - Marketplace on Rock sanding Road in New S e a. 0 y. The notion was seconded by Selectman Carter. The vote is unanimous with the Board Members present. The vote is 2-0. OLD BUSINESS.0 7: 11 p.m. fenewal of Personal Services _Aareement for* Thomas Puffs Mr. Pucci l s services as a computer operator and consultant have been a great aid to the departments .in 'down. Software policies have been developed and the money is within the budget states Mr. Harrington. The desire is to extend the contract through the balance of FY gl. The dated extension is April 16, 1991 through June 3o, 1991. Mr. Jones wade mote that it would be difficult to get along without ir. Pucci. He has paid for himself 2-3 times to date and is essential to rug the Town, Selectman Carter asked if he is training an employee in Town? It was replied by M . Darrington that we are trying to do so. Selectman Danson feels it may be cheaper to have hire on board. The motion was made by Selectman Danson to approve the extension of Mr. Pucci From April 16, 1991 through June 30, 1991. The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote is unanimous with the Board, The vote is 3-08
