He said the <br /> second location would be a good spot for one. But, they would have trouble with <br /> that because it was going to be in the way of getting stuff in the door. New License Septic Installer Nick Pastore Year 2001-2002 <br /> Ms. Warden stated that there is a request from Mr. Nick Pastore to approve his <br /> application and incorporate his permit from 2001 through 2002 due to there <br /> being one month left in the year 2001. He passed the test with an 80%. <br /> Mr. Ball made a motion to grant the new installer's application and incorporate <br /> it into the year 2002. Mr. Santos seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Eng. 195 Ninigret Avenue <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky was present along with the applicant, Mr. James Mahoney. <br /> The applicant is proposing that the following measures be completed in regards <br /> to the continued exploration of making 195 Ninigret Avenue a build-able lot. The <br /> measures are as follows: 1. Confer with Mr. Robert Sherman or Diane Boretos to <br /> determine if any abutting property contains wetlands. 2. Perform borings on the <br /> lot in the area of the soil absorption system and reserve. 3. Deed restriction on <br /> the lot for a 2-bedroom house. 4. Design septic system incorporating a Micro- <br /> fast Denitrification unit. 5. Cape & Islands will inspect and certify to the <br /> Mashpee BOH as follows: a. Excavation for S.A.S. b. Replacement with clean <br /> sand. c. Final septic system installation. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky began by stating that after leaving the last meeting he went back <br /> through the Cape & Islands Engineering and surveying archives containing <br /> notes, discussions and everything that went with this lot. He couldn't <br /> understand why they wouldn't have perked the lot. They had a letter from the <br /> BOH recommending that they strip the lot and then they would have a permit. <br /> He has a note to Mr. Mahoney recommending that he follow the BOH directives. <br /> Mr. Slavinsky has a note from Mr. Mahoney in return asking if he will receive a <br /> permit from the BOH. The answer was "no". Mr. Mahoney then asked "How <br /> come?" Mr. Slavinsky explained to Mr. Mahoney that the reason he wouldn't <br /> receive a permit is because he had abutting wells and septic systems.
