II. Scone of Services <br /> The design firm chosen will be responsible for providing the following services <br /> including, but not limited to, preparation of all site plans, construction plans, <br /> specifications, cost estimates, bidding documents, assistance with the bid process, <br /> environmental review, construction consultation and supervision, and any other <br /> responsibilities associated with the design, construction and items outlined herein: <br /> a. Develop a programming work product including a written program of rooms <br /> and activities, their short-term(current) spatial and functional needs, <br /> keeping in mind the need to design the building for future expansion. <br /> b. The Designer shall prepare and submit schematic design, elevations and cost <br /> estimates to meet an all inclusive budget of( 2.1 Million). <br /> C. Complete a structural and systems analysis of all building systems, <br /> including structural, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, communications and <br /> HVAC systems and incorporate systems and incorporate system upgrades <br /> into design documents. <br /> d. Perform an analysis of handicap access with accessibility improvements to <br /> be incorporated into the design program. <br /> e. Consult and Work with the Building Committee to select design option. <br /> f. Fully develop a final design program for the selected design, including all <br /> detailed plans, drawings, specifications and construction bidding materials. <br /> f. Develop detailed cost estimates for selected design. <br /> g. Coordinate the filed sub-bid and general contract bidding process for the <br /> project. <br /> h. Assist the Town in preparing and presenting materials at Town Meeting in <br /> order to secure financing for final design and construction. <br />
