i. In addition to the above services, the designer will provide all basic services described in AIA document B 141 (Standard Forms of Owner/Architect Agreement). Mashpee Town Counsel will provide the appropriate design services contract document for signing which may or may not incorporate the AIA Document B 141. j. The Town of Mashpee reserves the right to reject the choice of any consultants selected by the designer to carry out tasks related to this project. In no event will a consultant be used who has been debarred pursuant to Chapter 149, Section 44c of the Massachusetts General Laws. III. Oualifications All designers must possess the following minimum qualifications: • Massachusetts registration and licensing in all applicable disciplines. • Thorough knowledge of Massachusetts State Building Code and regulations of the Architectural Barriers Board. • Thorough knowledge of and familiarity with the requirements of applicable Massachusetts Public construction statutes, including General laws Chapters 149 and 30. • Experience in the preparation of space programs, final design documents and public construction statutes, including General Laws Chapters 149 and 30. • Experience in the preparation of space programs, final design documents and public bidding documents. • Prior experience designing Senior Centers is highly desirable. Examples of completed projects are recommended.
