Display tables in the lobby will include recognition of the 30 year of <br /> service to Mashpee by the Meals on Wheels organization, as of 1/31/05; memorial brick sales, <br /> and the Mashpee coverlet sales. <br /> PROGRAM. <br /> Ribbon-Cutting. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1 PM at the entrance to the <br /> Center. It was agreed that Joyce Mason, Wayne Taylor, Irving Goldberg, Jim Long, and <br /> Governor Romney or the Lt Governor, if either attends, would take part in this ceremony. Wayne <br /> Taylor will do the actual ribbon cutting. Any other interested parties are welcome to assemble <br /> behind the five ribbon-cutting individuals for photo-ops. <br /> Presentations. Presentations will begin at 1:30 PM. The committee agreed unanimously that <br /> Irving Goldberg should serve as Master of Ceremonies. Wayne Taylor, Irving Goldberg, Art <br /> Weinstein, and Jim Long will deliver short presentations. Included during the presentations will <br /> be recognition of the 30 years of Meals on Wheels service to Mashpee. Irving Goldberg will <br /> prepare an outlne of his remarks for review by the committee, and asked that all other presenters <br /> do the same thing. <br /> Music. Maxine Wolfset will provide background music on the new piano in the Great Room. <br /> Flags and Flagstands. There will be a need for an American and a State flag on display in the <br /> Great Room. Bud Abbott volunteered to take care of arranging for the FMSC to donate the flags <br /> as well as the flag stands. <br /> The next meeting of the Senior Center Grand Opening Subcommittee was scheduled for January <br /> 10"', 2005, at Town Hall, Conference Room 2, at approximately 3 PM, immediately following the <br /> adjournment of the Senior Center Building Committee, which convenes at 1:30 PM. <br /> As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3 PM. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Ina':?Sc-hljiothm(� <br /> - � <br /> Recordingetary <br /> 2 <br />
