Harold Klegman seconded the motion, and the committee unanimously <br /> approved the motion. The committee also unanimously approved the purchase from Filene's <br /> Furniture Store of the items recommended by the furniture subcommittee, at a cost of$2,110.45. <br /> Fundraising. Iry reported on plans for the following future potential fundraising events: <br /> -Golf tournament scheduled for June 1S', 2005 at Quashnet Valley Country Club <br /> -Musicale scheduled for January 3dh <br /> -Kitchen Shower <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Iry Goldberg reported on the following two items left to be done: <br /> 1) consideration of tiling of the bathroom walls and floors <br /> 2) lightning protection of the building <br /> The cupola has a brass rod protruding from the top, which needs to be grounded. We need two - <br /> prices: lightning protection for the entire building, and grounding of the brass rod in the cupola. <br /> Ed Adams agreed to get a price for both the grounding and the lightning protection. <br /> Discussion of the tiling of the bathrooms will be discussed further at the next Building Committee <br /> meeting. The next meeting of the Senior Center Building Committee is to be determined.
