Mashpee Design Review Committee ,/ <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,December 2,2004 M�/c <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara, Lee Gurney,Richard Stevens,Mary LeBlanc, <br /> and Robert Nelson. <br /> Invited Participant: Charlie Maintanis,Jr. (Assistant Building Inspector). <br /> Summary <br /> • High School Sign—Approved with condition sign be minimum of 4 feet off ground. <br /> • 6 Falmouth Road—Plan revisions to be made and submitted to Building Department for Design Review <br /> to review. Revisions to include: One way in off Route 28; Mary to review and talk to landscape <br /> architect, including adding minimum 10 foot buffer requirements; building to dress-up left elevation; <br /> and if any equipment goes on roof it has to be screened. w <br /> • Cape Cod Appliance—Building Plan and Sign stamped approved,but Applicant must return to Design <br /> Review with revised Site/Landscape Plans. <br /> Discussion—8:24 a.m. Prior to Start of Formal Meeting <br /> Prior to the formal meeting being called to order,Paul Botello approached the Design Review Committee and <br /> showed site plan that they already have a permit for to create an employee parking area. According to Mr. <br /> Botello,until just now they didn't know they had to come to Design Review, <br /> Conclusion: Mary will go to see the site and help work out some sort of buffer between site and Jiffy <br /> Lube. <br /> Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. <br /> Signs <br /> Brad Tripp <br /> Senior High Class Sign <br /> Route 151 <br /> Mr. Tripp showed picture of proposed marquee sign for High School to be placed on what they think is school <br /> property since its near where the school treatment plant is located. Following decided: <br /> To check Zoning Map to determine whether land on state property or on school perty. <br /> Suggestion made they need to raise footing and pt some plantings in and make sign minimum of 4' high off <br /> ground so it will be visible. <br /> They are to put stakes in ground and call Building Department so Design Review can visit site to review. <br /> Conclusion: Approved with condition sign be minimum of 4 feet off ground <br />
