V � <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Minutes of Meeting Held Thursday,January 5,2006 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 3 <br /> Committee Members Present: Walter Yarosh, Thomas O'Hara,Lee Gurney,Robert Nelson, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Absent: Mary LeBlanc <br /> Summary <br /> • Mashpee Health Center—Signage stamped approved subject to Building Department double-checking site <br /> plan for current sign placement. <br /> • Cape Cod Appliance—Landscaping Plan stamped approved. Kevin Kirrane to have another copy made for <br /> Building Department file. <br /> • Industrial Drive Map 88/Parcel 35,36—Landscape plan approved subject to 10-foot buffer being maintained <br /> and increase in the landscaping in areas discussed and try to maintain 10-foot buffer on side. One copy of <br /> revised Plan to be sent to Building Department. HVAC units have to be screened. Rear elevation of <br /> building needs 3-foot band across the whole back in upper section of the building. <br /> • Duck Pond Limited Partnership—When Plans ready contact Building Department, go through Technical <br /> Review,and then come back to Design Review. If going to ZBA,must state whether dealing with one lot or <br /> two lots. <br /> Walter Yarosh, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. <br /> Signs <br /> Mashpee Health Center <br /> Helen C. Baldwin <br /> Helen Baldwin stated that she initially submitted something that was too large and is now submitting revised <br /> drawing of proposed sign. Design Review stated that the Building Department should check to be certain that the <br /> sign is on applicant's own property and not on the road. If off-premise,then they have to go to Selectmen unless <br /> they had already gotten prior approval for placement since sign is already in place. <br /> Conclusion: Signage stamped approved subject to Building Department double-checking site plan for current <br /> sign placement. <br /> South Cape Village <br /> Informal Discussion <br /> Don Megathlin said this is not a formal request he just wanted to appear informally to ask Design Review whether <br /> one of the tenants of one of the buildings could place a sign facing the street on the other side of the building. <br /> Design Review said signage is allowed within the space the tenant actually rents or leases. This answered the <br /> question. <br />
