LEISURE SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING <br />June 2, 1998 <br />MASHPEE TOWN HALL - 6:30 PM <br />Present: Absent: Also Present: <br />Maryanne Macdonald Sheila Arnold Gus Frederick <br />Pat Riley Pat Antonellis Carl McClintock <br />Kim Whitney Scott Chausse <br />Wayne Taylor <br />DUE TO THE FACT THAT THERE WAS NO QUORUM, NO ITEMS WERE VOTED. <br />The following issues were discussed. <br />Carl McClintock came in to discuss lighting at Heritage Park. Kim Whitney is working <br />with the power company to get poles. Carl McClintock discussed lighting up field one. <br />Hope for on-off switch in concession stand. Four poles are needed - two at backstop and <br />one a foul line. <br />Gus asked where we stood regarding the poles. Gus mentioned wooden poles. Carl <br />McClintock felt metal poles were needed in order to have Little League tournaments. <br />Waiting for bids to come in for poles. Maybe next April to work with Base for <br />installation. Gus asked if Carl had spoken with Greg Taylor. <br />Minutes will be approved at next meeting. <br />Gus discussed credit card proposal. Only three applied. Bank of Boston and Citizens had <br />no charge for transaction. Gus passed out sheets showing comparisons. <br />Focus reports will be done in July. <br />All camps are filled. Maryanne Macdonald wanted to know if we were going to have our <br />own janitors. <br />Gus passed out sheet of next year's planning. <br />Don McCuish is interested in becoming member of Leisure Services Advisory Council. <br />Super Swim will be held on June 27 at John's Pond.
