i <br />Community picnic is scheduled for August 12 and being sponsored by Mashpee 2000. <br />Oktoberfest — will be held October 7 — Columbus Day weekend. High School band will <br />be there this year. <br />Gus mentioned that he is going in for hip surgery on September 8. <br />Fall programs are in the planning stages. Pat Antonellis suggested having local <br />merchants donate Trick or Treats to the children marching in the parade.
