The high school <br /> will disrupt the natural order of things in this area. We realize at both sites trees must be removed <br /> and animals disturbed . Saving money on the water main <br /> and site construction costs is a major issue because at town <br /> meeting we argue over $1 ,000 worth of raises. Because the 151 <br /> site would force a more compact design , it seems it would have <br /> less of an environmental impact. At 151 site, there are no <br /> houses from the rotary to Johns Pond center, the road could be <br /> widened without major impact. That could not happen on Rte 130 <br /> without having to cut down a lot of trees and effecting a lot of <br /> houses. <br /> You said the 130 site would provide same job opportunities as the <br /> rotary area, because the town is not acquiring the commercial <br /> land . Are you suggesting, in addition to the high school , there <br /> will be big commercial development in the area to provide jobs <br /> • for a large number of people? <br /> At the last meeting we heard the Wampanoags have some cultural , <br /> historical and environmental concerns about the Center site which <br /> 7 <br />
