•
Mr. Martiros explained he suggested placing votes on a piece of
paper, if the votes were questioned that was fine . He was not
trying to be secretive . They would place their vote as a
Committee and place the burden on the individuals .
Mr. Greelish said he has followed up on some issues since that
meeting and there are still a lot of questions and facts and
figures . He anticipated having time to review the report and get
answers but the process was cut short by 2 weeks . The flight
path issue is a big issue . He does not have facts on the water
issue.
Paul Griffin stated he did not get a chance to vote . He lives
near the 151 site and 'there is a benefit to having it near his
house. He would have voted for the Center site . Everyone he has spoken with favors the Center
site .
Mr. Greelish stated the bottom line is the Committee no longer
has the site selection as a goal . We must present all the
information as best we can.
Bill Jones stated, at the Selectmen' s meeting , seeing the same
audience the Committee has seen, he felt the ball game was lost .
He prefers the Center site but feels he has to justify it on
• something other than his personal preference and he could not do
that having the information presented 10 minutes before the vote .
In the presence of negative feeling , he had to strengthen his
point of view. The public now has a confused picture of what it
is all about . He felt insulted the Committee was asked to make
4
