MASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE MINUTES • TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30 , 1993 EXECUTIVE SESSION Ms. Ahlgren made a motion to go into executive session. Mr. Griffin seconded the motion. All members in favor - Ms . Ahlgren, Mr. Griffin , Mr. Dinizio, Mr. Jones, Mr. Martiros, Mr. Polito, Ms. mills, Mr. Greelish . Executive Session convened at 6 : 10 p. m. a quorum being present and a Majority having voted to go into executive session, the chair states that this meeting convened in open session and notice and posting of the meeting was given . After the executive session the meeting will reconvene. The purpose of this executive session is to deliberate upon matters which , if done in open meeting could detrimentally affect the position of the Town regarding the purchase, exchange of real property . At the last meeting , the Committee voted to budget $1 million which is sufficient to acquire either site. This amount was recommended by the appraiser. Mr . Griffin explained they hope to end up with $300-500, 000 left in the contingency when the project is completed . If not, the • Town will set up a reserve for the amount they think they will be short. The money article is for $28. 7 million . When questioned on this issue, the Committee will responde that on advise of Counsel the appraised values cannot be discussed at this time. The $1 million is based on advise of the appraiser and is a sufficient amount to acquire the land required at either site. ** Mr. Griffin made a motion to leave executive session. Ms. Ahlgren seconded the motion . All members were in favor - Mr. Dinizio, Mr. Greelish, Ms. Mills, Mr. Polito, Mr. Jones, Mr. Martiros, Ms. Ahlgren , Mr . Griffin . ** • 1
