The Committee agreed this position (educational consultant) will start the program but may not finish it. OPEN FORUM The Committee agreed to hold an open meeting/informational forum of their own , no co-sponsoring. They agreed to hold it on a Saturday morning and will try to reserve the Senior Center to hold it. Janice Mills will look into getting the space for Saturday, October 23rd . Al Polsi joined the meeting. The Committee asked about the Enterprise article which states the taxpayers association is petitioning Conservation Commission about using a parcel of conservation land for the high school site. He explained he has received call about re-visiting those two parcels of land . At the next Board of Directors meeting on Thursday they will discuss it further. There is no petition now and he does not know if there will be. Chairman Dinizio will invite Carl Franceschi/DRA to the PTO meeting on Oct 7th at 8:00 p.m. and will tell him of the plan for • a Oct. 23rd meeting. Handouts to be used at the PTO meeting must be coordinated with him. ARCHITECTURAL RFP Joe Polito and Paul Griffin are working on the architectural RFP criteria to give to the Executive Secretary to prepare the actual RFP. They will have information prepared for the next meeting. OLD BUSINESS Tom Fudala stated the Executive Secretary 's office told him the contract for the appraisers has just come back from Town Counsel . The appraisal firm will sign it on Friday and it will go to the Selectmen on Monday. No appraising work is going on yet. Ms. Ahlgren made a motion to adjourn at 9 :32 .
