DRAFT 10/26/93 • TOWN OF MASHPEE suggested Articles and Motions for New High School ARTICLE . To see it the Town will vote to appropriate a sum of money for constructing, originally equipping and furnishing a new high school, including costs of acquiring land as a site for the school, architectural and engineering fees, appraisals and other costs incidental or related thereto, and to determine whether to raise this appropriation by borrowing or otherwise, or to take any other action related thereto. MOTION: I move that the sum of $ be hereby appropriated for constructing, originally~nquippinq and furnishing a new high school, including costs of acquiring land as a site for the school, architectural and engineering fees, appraisals and other costs incidental or related thereto, that to raise the foregoing appropriation the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be authorized to borrow not exceeding S under and pursuant to chapter 44, Section 7(3) , of the General Laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor; provided that this appropriation and borrowing authorization shall be contingent upon the passage of a referendum question excluding the payments • of principal and interest on bonds or notes issued hereunder from the provisions of proposition 2h, so called. • f f ARTICLE To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by purchase, by eminent domain or otherwise, as a site for a new high school, the land described as follows: or to take any other action relative thereto.
