TO: School Building Committee
FROM: Dr. Lincoln A. DeMoura
DATE: November 1, 1994
TOPIC: LOCATION OF SUPERINTENDENT'S OFFICE /
i STORAGE FOR GROUNDS EQUIPMENT
As I am sure your committee is aware, the Board of Selectmen has
asked the Superintendent of Schools to relocate his office to a much
smaller area. In order for the school system to determine our best
option, it is important for us to know whether or not the School
Building Committee will be providing any space for the
Superintendent's office when the facility opens in 1996. The amount
of space required is 3,000 square feet.
In addition, it is my understanding that outdoor storage for grounds-
keeping equipment is not being considered. Should this be the case,
the School Department will be required to contract grounds
maintenance and will forego the purchase of grounds maintenance
equipment.
A speedy response would be greatly appreciated.
CC: School Committee
I
r
r
