SMMA has reviewed the lowest 3 bids.
Ed said the bottom line is there are no apparent problems with the bottom 3
bids .
Paul said the low bidder , Stone , asked for a 10 day continuance for their
minority plan but that is in compliance .
Town Counsel has already heard from Eastern ' s attorney ( the second lowest
bidder ) . Paul said Eastern is not going to go away.
There has been a protest against the mechanical and electrical sub bids .
Griffin electric is in violation now, subject to doing more due diligence.
Merry Sue said considering the town has a history of problems with them
( Eastern ) do they have to use them ( if it comes to that)?
Paul said the Selectmen are reviewing the settlement agreement with
Eastern , particularly the language regarding future jobs .
Paul said right now, Stone looks good .
