** Paul made a motion to forward to Selectmen for their approval <br /> change order X22 for S11 , 876 for above miscellaneous items . Merry <br /> Sue seconded the motion. <br /> Paul said some of the items are omission items , i . e . some sinks didn' t show <br /> cold water piping. <br /> The sprinkler system, it in our best interest to add master valve now <br /> because of the added fields . <br /> ** All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND PLAYING FIELDS <br /> Tom explain PA Landers confirmed that Com Electric moved their line , cable <br /> is next to move because NYNEX will only go last . All three utilities have <br /> been requested to attend a meeting tomorrow regarding this issue . <br /> The completion date for Old Barnstable Rd improvements was August 23rd. <br /> Landers said they won ' t be complete until October 1 and were told that is <br /> too late . <br /> Landers is suggesting the town use political pressure to get the utilities <br /> moved quickly. <br /> The snow fence , to separate the areas should not be a problem installing in <br /> time . <br /> There is a fee of $9 , 200 for sinking of the monitoring wells . This will go <br /> through SMMA' s contract . The work has been done . <br /> PROFESSIONAL, FEES <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward to Selectmen for their approval and <br /> payment $44 , 303 for SMMA for basic services and additional services <br /> for non-compliance by Stone . Merry Sue seconded the motion. All <br /> members were in favor. <br /> ** Paul amended the motion to approve payment of $42 , 967 . 56 to SMMA <br /> ( adjustment made for items billed that were not 100%) . Merry Sue <br /> seconded the motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their approval <br /> and payment $26 , 647 . 25 to Chartwell for professional services <br /> through August including clerk of the works , Perry Dean Rogers , <br /> and miscellaneous reimbursables . Merry Sue seconded the motion. <br /> All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their approval a <br /> proposal for OccuHealth Inc . to test the air quality issues in the <br /> building for $18 , 957 . plus 10% markup for SMMA. Merry Sue seconded <br /> the motion. All members were in favor 5-0 . <br /> Tom said there has been no progress at all with the acid neutralization <br /> tank. <br /> Steve asked if this will hold us up with the DEP or plumbing inspector' <br /> Paul said it will not . DEP says they have no jurisdiction over this . <br /> 7 <br />
