Paul said we are owed an enormous amount of training . They will begin to
schedule it . He strongly suggests it is video taped .
Janice suggested that very soon we ask Mike Pietrowski to video tape the
High school with a running commentary and put it on the educational
channel .
Paul added that once the classrooms are set up, have some still photos
taken, including the exterior and set up a board at town meeting .
Mike Pietrowski will get the photos done .
Mike said the high school channel will be 75 .
Miscellaneous Matters
- acid neutralization tank, 2 weeks ago the plumber said it would be done
in two weeks . Joel said they have received shop drawings and sent them
back.
- Spare lamps . Joel sent a letter to Stone and after reviewing their
response found the value to be unacceptable . He gave them guidelines but
they have not responded back.
Paul suggested in may be in the schools best interest to take the credit in
product since the money goes back to the town.
Steve said they should negotiate on how much overage of product to cover
the labor costs .
- Superintendents office : Paul spoke with Stone today. They will make calls
tomorrow to get it going.
- Duel Fuel meeting : Steve met with the Cape Cod Commission to relocate the
tank in the area behind the mechanical room. They were very favorable to
that . It doesn't look like the town will ever develop the P1 well . We will
have to file a modification when we are ready. Steve suggested design
build and seek the architects assistance in putting together the
specifications .
Joel will prepare a proposal for SMMA' s assistance .
Merry sue asked how much this will cost?
Paul said we won' t know until we put it out to bid.
Steve wants to keep it a simple design. All above ground, conventional
tankage which has to be covered with a bunker underneath. There needs to be
a system to detect leakage .
(Jim left the meeting at 6 : 00 p.m. He thanked the Committee for the
flowers that they sent . )
CHANGE ORDER
Joel presented change order #23 for $4 , 310 for:
- relocation of drywall petition in stair #1 & 4
- provide coupling valve for irrigation system as recommended by Dan
Solien.
** Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their approval
change order #23 for $4 , 310 .
