• Paul suggested Joel talk to Mike Kirwin about this . John Williams said he polled the teachers and got 12 responses from those who would use overheads. Mike Pietrowski said the Committee asked him to investigate changing the video surveillance system so we can see all entrances at the same time . He submitted the paperwork to Chartwell , it will cost $2 , 000-4 , 000 . The Committee will put it on the next meeting ' s agenda and in the meantime Mike will discuss it with Chartwell . - proposal from Canteen to purchase "smart" registers for the cafeteria. Paul said those will really help with the bidding process . John said each student could be issued an ID card for the cafeteria, it will read whether they have free or reduced lunch. Tom said Canteen is a private company, why would the school purchase the registers? Paul said the owner has to provide all the equipment . He has no objection to getting them, but John should make sure it meets the criteria of what he wants . Steve Greelish will review the information on the registers. John Williams asked when they can get into C & D? • Paul said hopefully November 25th. However, he thinks the standing water in the sink room will be a real issue . They ma be able to open but not have use of the kitchen. Joel said the Committee wanted a list of schools that have mat boards installed. The closest is in New York. Paul asked if we just want to hang screens? Merry Sue said if we install some mat boards, then other teachers will want them when they see them. Paul thinks screens are the easiest way to fix this . Buy as many as we need and we can store them. He asked Joel to ask Manny Tavares for a price and an example of how it will be hung . NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING: NOVEMBER 26TH, 4 : 00 P.M.
