26th and April 9th. Joe seconded the motion. <br /> Tom said on the discussion of SMMA' s fee, (pg 3 ) it should be <br /> $17 , 448 , total $39 ,473 . 32 . All members were in favor of <br /> accepting the amended minutes . ** <br /> ** Merry Sue made a motion to approve the Executive Session <br /> minutes of March 26th. Joe seconded the motion. <br /> Steve asked if they now can be released? <br /> No , the minutes do not have to be released until the issue being <br /> discussed is resolved. <br /> ** All members were in favor of accepting the executive <br /> session minutes . ** <br /> Paul gave an update on the meetings he has been attending on <br /> Friday mornings with Ed Frenette, George Gunn, David Patrick and <br /> Alan Scott. He feels Stone has turned the corner in their <br /> ability to do things right . <br /> The fire wall shafts were not done right , Stone said they would <br /> fix it , no discussion. <br /> Things are going a lot better then the last few months . Stone now <br /> knows they will be held accountable for progress . <br /> Carr now has a new super taking over the job and are picking up <br /> the pace . <br /> SMMA thought the interior block work was unacceptable quality, <br /> Stone hired a consultant who agreed with SMMA. Costa Brothers has <br /> added extra labor to deal with that . <br /> All the windows were taken out, repaired and replaced. <br /> Paul has asked SMMA to ask Stone to finish 1 classroom in its <br /> entirety ( except carpeting) . <br /> The moisture problem is becoming evident . Today the floors were <br /> wet, the pipes were dripping. Stone will turn the heat on <br /> tonight . This will be a problem until the curtain walls are in. <br /> Paul was told the library curtain wall will be done by May 10th. <br /> Bill Martiros asked, in light of the problem with carpeting a the <br /> Middle School , do we still want carpet? <br /> Paul said carpet needs to be maintained properly and these are <br /> not . <br /> Bill asked why they will maintain the carpet at the high school? <br /> Paul said this Committee will have to talk to the school <br /> department about that - make sure it is maintained. <br /> Merry Sue said the carpet that is going in here has more anti <br /> bacterial agents in it than the carpet at the other two schools. <br /> It is better quality carpet . <br /> Ian said Chartwell is only getting the results of the Friday <br /> morning meetings second hand, are minutes being kept? <br /> Paul said yes, but are only being distributed to attendees , to <br /> agree on the intent of the discussion. The meetings are only to <br /> discuss problems that are not being resolved. <br /> He asked he contractor to keep the record so there would be no <br /> 2 <br />
