Merry Sue said this Committee had agreed that the operator would <br /> work for us for the first year. <br /> Steve agreed, because of the unknown expense, this Committee <br /> would assume that within our budget for the first year. <br /> Paul said we can but it will not be a qualified cost . <br /> Bob Whritenour does have to award the contract then. He needs a <br /> recommendation of this Committee . They will give him a <br /> recommendation after the next meeting . <br /> - Tom said the successful library furniture bidder contacted him <br /> to find out when he could deliver the furniture . He should refer <br /> him to Manny Tavares . <br /> - SMMA' s proposal to prepare a bid package for additional fields. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their <br /> approval an additional fee for SMMA for $13 , 762 to <br /> prepare a bid package for additional fields . Merry Sue <br /> seconded the motion. <br /> It includes additional baseball , softball and practice football <br /> fields, site lighting and VHB work ( road widening and sidewalk) . <br /> ** All members were in favor 6-0** <br /> Bill Martiros asked about the results of testing on masonry? <br /> Joel said 21 places were tested. 2 contained ice crystals. They <br /> then did strength tests on those locations and it was determined <br /> the mortar strength was as good on better where it was frozen. <br /> Merry Sue suggested moving the model to the Middle School for <br /> town meeting. Jim will coordinate that. <br /> NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING IS MAY 14 , 4 : 00 P.M HIGH SCHOOL SITE. <br /> Following meeting is May 28th. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 5 : 35 p.m. <br /> Minutes submitted by Arden R.
