They reviewed each division of the project ;
- drywall, is in good shape .
- ceilings, are a little behind but coming around.
- bricklayer is stalled in some areas . He started 2 smaller crews
to do clean up work.
- block work: they just started this morning on stairs 1 & 2 .
- stairs near the library should be here any day.
- pipe in library, Stone was given a directive to move it. They
gave a directive to the sub to move it within 48 hours .
- windows, are making good headway. The building should be
totally tight within 2 weeks .
- elevator, machinery is in but it is not operating yet.
- heating, expect it on within the next 10 days .
- fans on roof are not on yet ( for de-humidification) , expected
on Friday.
Stone has decided to finish the upstairs first and then work
down, it is less humid upstairs because it is not on slab.
- gym, hardwood floors will not be taken off of the truck until a
moisture check has been done on them first . They will then
acclimate the wood to that area.
- Site work, is coming along well , they are now happy with
Lawrence Lynch' s pace.
Paul explained that July 1 is now the estimated start up date for
the sewage treatment plant, not June 1 . The pumps being used are
Swedish and only available there and they are having trouble
getting them out of the country. Paul recommended they get a
temporary pump to get the plant going. DEP will not be called to
test until there has been flow for 30 days.
Jim added there are still some submittals missing.
Paul said David Patrick and Alan Scott are going to work on it
and speak with our engineers to get an appointment with DEP to
discuss the situation.
Steve said because we are asking DEP to permit a new technology,
they will be a little more involved. We should expect they will
1
