1 <br /> (Bill Martiros left the meeting at 5:45 p.m.) <br /> Portable Bleachers: Paul is concerned about portable bleachers. On soft loam holding 200-300 <br /> people someone could get hurt. The School Dept should think about it. Where appropriate,we <br /> should put permanent benches. <br /> John Williams said they would like 8 portable bleachers. They are not able to install permanent <br /> benches for the teams in all locations because so many different sports are played on the fields. <br /> Dr. DeMoura had previously given the Committee prices for bleachers. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward for payment FF&E payments to various vendors, <br /> voucher I total $92,003.41 and voucher 2 total $1,691.33. Merry Sue seconded the <br /> motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> Monitor Equipment Co. - supplied the second round of tack boards. We are back charging them <br /> $634.43 for Chartwell services and custodian services because they did not show up one <br /> Saturday as scheduled. <br /> Professional Fees: <br /> SMMA-final payment to Manny Tavares and SMMA fees for August. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward for payment $11,589.87 to SMMA. Merry Sue <br /> seconded the motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward for payment$17,423.27 for Chartwell fees through <br /> October plus welder's work. Merry Sue seconded the motion. All members were in <br /> favor 5-0** <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward for payment library material vendors in the amount of <br /> $4,114.33. Merry Sue seconded the motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> Library Dept. Is still under budget by$10,000. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to forward for payment sundry invoices in the amount of <br /> $18,025.81 for voucher I and$4,994.61 for voucher 2. Merry Sue seconded the <br /> motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> Paul mentioned that Joel Seeley has issued another letter to the sewage treatment plant <br /> consultants regarding the pump. <br /> Handicapped Commission visited the school and did have some concerns, mostly outside the <br /> building.
