Don Cook requested an upgrade for the exterior door closures at a cost of$60 per unit for a total <br /> of$1,200. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to approve the purchase of 60 heavy duty door closure units, not <br /> to exceed $1,500. Merry Sue seconded the motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> Mike Horne explained there is no electrical outlets at the baseball and softball fields and an <br /> extension cord from the building is impractical. He would like to purchase portable generators <br /> at a cost of$630-750 each to run the pitching machines. <br /> Janice asked if there is no possibility of getting electricity out there? <br /> Paul said that becomes a bigger problem. Generators are the right way to go but he would <br /> caution the school about liability issues. <br /> ** Paul made a motion to approve for purchase 2 portable generators for an amount not <br /> to exceed $1,500. Merry Sue seconded the motion. All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> Jim explained he has received a letter from the architectural access board and has forwarded a <br /> copy to Brian Lawlor of SMMA. We have 30 days to respond. If we need a meeting to deal <br /> with this, Jim will call everyone. It is almost all outside work <br /> Paul explained the town has been issued two civil actions regarding the land taking.
