Mechanical work cannot begin until coordinated services drawings are provided. <br /> Where are these drawings ? <br /> 9. (a) With reference to the soil enhancers, we have not seen an RFI requesting the <br /> Architect's interpretation of the Specification. Why did it take 3 months for the <br /> Contractor to find out the difficulty and why remain silent for so long? Where is the <br /> agreement with the subcontractor? We would be interested to see what is 'in' or 'out'. <br /> 9. (b) The Clerk of the Works has attended numerous meetings with the subcontractors. <br /> Since mid-July 1995 he has been seeking information on the status of the submittals <br /> relating to the fields. The stock answer from the Contractor was that everything was <br /> in order to achieve the substantial completion deadline of September 6, 1995. A lot <br /> more openness is necessary on the part of the Contractor. Teamwork requires the <br /> free flow of information in both directions. <br /> 9. (c) We are not aware of resources being dedicated by the Contractor to secure the <br /> completion of the fields by the earliest possible date. All we have seen is the return <br /> of the submittals for the peat moss and the irrigation system without approval. If <br /> material submissions remain to be made, how does the Contractor propose to <br /> complete the fields by September 20? As of September 11, no submittals exist for <br /> either of these items. <br /> 10. Most of these activities are in the future. The storm drainage could have commenced <br /> and the material has been stored at site for at least three weeks. The Contractor <br /> recently advised that storm drainage will be installed before the onset of winter. The <br /> storm drainage structures were to arrive at the site last week. <br /> 11. We would need to see the correspondence alluded to in the Contractor's letter. <br /> 12. If the schedule is intact then why is the Contractor presently preparing a revised <br /> schedule less then two weeks after its letter of August 31? <br /> V' <br />
