All shellfish predators such as starfish, whelks and <br /> their egg cases and cockles taken from the waters of <br /> Mashpee must be deposited above the high water mark <br /> or placed in a trash receptacle found at a public <br /> landing or disposed of at the town dump. <br /> 17 . All shellfish shall be brought ashore in the shell . <br /> Article 4 . Commercial Shellfish Regulations <br /> Commercial Shellfish Permit holders are subject to <br /> all regulations setforth in Article 3 as well as <br /> the following: <br /> 1 ) Commercial shellfishing is prohibited on <br /> Sundays . <br /> 2 ) No Commercial Shellfish Permit holder shall <br /> harvest from areas designated as "Family <br /> Permits Only" except for species allowed <br /> under such designation or stipulated in <br /> any other section of these regulations . <br /> ( See Special Scallop, Oyster Regulations ) . <br /> 3 ) A Commercial Shellfish Permit holder may also r !' <br /> buy a Family Permit. However, he/she may <br /> only use this permit to take shellfish on <br /> Sundays . Other members of a Commercial <br /> Shellfishermans family are not subject to <br /> this restriction. <br /> i <br /> 4 ) No Commercial Shellfish Permit holder shall <br /> employ or otherwise be assisted by another {j <br /> individual in the act of taking or culling <br /> shellfish, unless that person also holds a <br /> Mashpee Commercial Shellfish permit, unless <br /> otherwise stated in these regulations . ' <br /> Article 5 . Special Permits, Seasons, Regulations <br /> 1 . Eel Regulations - The waters of the Town of Mashpee <br /> are closed for the taking of eels by any means other :�i' <br /> than a single hook and line or by spearing. The <br /> use of eel pots or multiple hook rigs is prohibited <br /> until further notice . <br /> 2 . Oyster Regulations - The harvesting of oysters is <br /> pfl <br /> prohibited until further notice. <br /> 3 . Scallop Regulations - To be submitted at a later `���` <br /> date. <br />
