4) Any persons) engaged in shellfishing or having shellfish <br /> in their possession must present a valid Mashpee <br /> Shellfish Permit, and a two inch shellfish-measuring ring <br /> or guage to any Mashpee Shellfish Constable, Deputy <br /> Constable or Mashpee Police Officer on demand. <br /> 5) Any person (s) engaged in shellfishing or having shellfish <br /> in their possession must display their catch for <br /> inspection to any Mashpee Shellfish Constable, Deputy <br /> Constable or Mashpee Police Officer on demand. <br /> 6) Shellfishing is prohibited in any area designated as an <br /> "Area Closed to Shellfishing" by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> 7) Shellfishing is prohibited in any area designated as a <br /> "Private Shellfish Grant Area" by the Board of Selectmen <br /> and other local, state and federal permits except for the <br /> the grant holder and his or her employees or permittee <br /> unless regulated or stipulated otherwise by the Board of <br /> Selectmen. Violations will result in a citation under <br /> these regulations or may be subject to other state <br /> penalties including fines, imprisonment, and/or damages <br /> sought by the grantholder . <br /> 8) No person(s) shall have in their possession or take <br /> amounts of shellfish in excess of the daily or weekly <br /> limits set forth by the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Those limits are set forth as follows: <br /> A. NON-COMMERCIAL CATCH LIMITS: <br /> 1) Soft-shell clams . One peck per week <br /> 2) Quahogs One peck per week <br /> 3) Scallops (in season) One bushel per week <br /> 4) Razor Clams One peck per week <br /> 5) Mussels One peck per week <br /> B.
