Moderator read Article 31 <br /> IT <br /> 'P! -Irticle 31. To see if the Town will vote to amend Section 4.7.5 of the ; <br /> Town By-Laws by adding thereto the following new subsection: <br /> "d. All water skiing is subject to the applicable provisions of <br /> the C eneral Laws of the Commonwealth, as amended, and to the <br /> further restriction that no water skiing, jet skiing, motor <br /> or propelled surfboards or water bikes, are to be operated <br /> in or on the fresh water ponds of Mashpee before the hour of i <br /> 10_00 a.m. and after the hour of 6:00 p.m. ." <br /> Submitted by The Harbormaster <br /> Moderator: Mr. Murphy <br /> Mr. Murphy: I move-. the Town vote to amend Section 4.7.5 of <br /> the Town By-Laws by adding thereto the following new subsection: <br /> "d. Therefore the amendment put <br /> forth by you, Mr. Brown, dealing with a salt water pond is a 1 <br /> applicable; so in that regard, I have to accept Town Counsel <br /> ruling on that and declare your amendment " out of order". <br /> Moderator: We are now on the motion proposed Article. Any discussion? <br /> Voter: May I make an amendment? <br /> Moderator: You may amendment, there are no amendments on the Article. <br /> Voter: I would like to add to the Article, that no jet-skis would <br /> be allowed on any ponds. <br /> in Town Counsel advises me your amendment is not within <br /> Moderator: Aga <br /> the context of the Article. You are trying to eliminate the <br /> use of jet-skis, surf boards etc. That would take a separate <br /> Article. Therefore the amendment you propose is also"out of j <br /> order". <br /> Is there any further discussion? Yes sir, please state your <br /> name? <br />
