Article 11. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Article 4. 7 , Section <br /> 4. 7. 5, of the Town by-laws by adding thereto the following <br /> subsection: <br /> "f. No person shall operate a windsurf boat on any channel <br /> or river within the Town of "lashpee or within 150 feet of <br /> any bather" , or take any action thereon. <br /> Submitted by Waterways Advisory Committee <br /> Finance Committee does not recommend approval <br /> The Waterways Advisory Committee submitted this article as a result of a <br /> suggestion of the Harbormster who expressed concerns as to safety. <br /> Article 12. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to raise and anpropriate the <br /> sum of $3, 033, with $1, 623 to go to the Lifeguard Wages Account, <br /> $760 to the Park and Recreation Expense Account and 5650 to the <br /> Maintenance and Small Construction Account to equip, operate and <br /> maintain the public beach area at John' s Pond Park on weekends <br /> from July 3 through September 3 , or take any action related thereto. <br /> Submitted by Conservation Commission <br /> and John' s Pond Park Committee <br /> Finance Committee recommends Conservation Commission use <br /> existing Conservation Trust Fund money <br />:I <br /> Fluids would be provided to have lifeguards at John's Porti Beach weekends <br /> through labor Day. None are currently provided. At the annual meeting in May, <br /> voters on voice votes defeated articles to provide lifeguards daily and only <br /> on weekends. Finds will be collected and go to the general 'town treasury to <br /> offset the $3,033 request. <br />
