Article 8 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law as follows: <br /> Replace the current wording of Subsection 9.3.2.1 with the following: <br /> '9.3.2.1 Single-family detached structures and detached accessory <br /> residences, provided that the total number of bedrooms in the OSID shall <br /> not exceed 2.2 times the number of residential units allowed by Subsection <br /> 9.3.4.' <br /> Replace the current wording of Subsection 9.3.2.2(a)with the following: <br /> '(a) there shall be an overall limit within the OSID of not more than 2.2 <br /> ' bedrooms times the maximum number of residential units allowed by <br /> Subsection 9.3.4,' <br /> Replace the current wording of Subsection 9.3.4.1 with the following: <br /> '9.3.4.1 For the purposes of this section, a 'residential unit' shall be <br /> ` defined a dwelling unit for use by one family or group of up to five <br /> unrelated individuals which contains only one kitchen and 2.2 bedrooms. A <br /> Y bedroom shall be defined as any habitable room exceeding sixty(60)square <br /> feet in area which is other than a living room (1 allowed), dining room (1 <br /> allowed), kitchen (1 allowed), utility (boiler, water heater, laundry, etc.) <br /> room or bathroom. Actual dwelling units within the OSID may contain any <br /> number of bedrooms, but the aggregate total of bedrooms allowed in the <br /> OSID shall not exceed 2.2 times the maximum number of'residential units' <br /> allowed by this subsection.' <br /> Replace the current wording of Subsection 9.3.4.2(a)with the following: <br /> '(a) any previously approved and recorded subdivision lot, which meets <br /> current zoning and health requirements and regulations or which would <br /> otherwise be buildable if developed, due to protection from current zoning <br /> and health regulations by reason of statute or local by-law or regulation, <br /> shall count as 1.5 residential units (such lot shall not qualify for any bonus <br /> multiplier unless it contains at least 10,000 square feet of upland area), <br /> otherwise it shall be treated as unsubdivided and undeveloped land as in(c) <br /> below; <br /> Replace the current wording of Subsection 9.3.4.2(6)with the following <br /> '(b) any dwelling unit previously approved under a currently valid <br /> (unexpired) special permit, except cluster subdivision lots covered in (a) <br /> above,and motel units(which shall not qualify as dwelling units under this <br /> by-law for any purpose) shall count as one residential unit and such units <br /> shall not qualify for any bonus multipliers(also see Subsection 9.3.4.4);' <br /> ` In Subsection 9.3.4.5 add the word "upland'prior to the phrase"area of such land may be <br /> divided"in the fust sentence and add the following to the second sentence: <br />
