Amend the Town By-Laws by deleting Section 2.1.6 c in its entirety and replace with <br /> the following: Section 2.1.6.c. "Selectmen may appoint a director of leisure services <br /> to oversee recreation and youth services and community education"; and <br /> 2. Town create the position of director of leisure services, amend Appendix A of the <br /> Personnel Administration Plan to include the position of director of leisure services, <br /> grade 13, and appropriate and transfer from the Parks and Recreation Management <br /> Salaries Account$27,230 to Leisure Services Management Salaries Account; and <br /> 3. Appropriate and transfer $6,045 from the Parks and Recreation Clerical Salaries <br /> Account to the Leisure Services Clerical Salaries Account; and <br /> 4. Appropriate and transfer$48,696 from the Parks and Recreation Lifeguard Wages <br /> Account to the Leisure Services Personnel Salaries Account to provide for lifeguards <br /> and beach attendants without change in service; and <br /> 5. Appropriate and transfer$9,500 from the Parks and Recreation Management Salaries <br /> Account to the Leisure Services Personnel Salaries Account to provide for a program <br /> supervisor without change in service; and <br /> 6. Authorize the position of program supervisor to become full-time beginning July 1, <br /> 1990; <br /> 7. Appropriate and transfer$3,357 from the Community School Salaries Account to the <br /> Leisure Services Management Salaries Account to provide compensation for a <br /> community school director through August 31; and <br /> 8. Appropriate and transfer$6,045 from the Community School Salaries Account to the <br /> Leisure Services Clerical Salaries Account to provide for continued employment of <br /> the part-time clerk currently in the community school program; and <br /> 9. Appropriate and transfer$4,940 from the Parks and Recreation Management Salaries <br /> Account to the Leisure Services Expenses Account to permit the department to engage <br /> i the services of a beach superintendent on a contract basis; and <br /> 10.
