i + Article 43 To see if the Town will vote to form under the supervision of the Board of Selectmen a municipal buildings maintenance departnent and toward that end. the Town vote to take the following actions subject to an override of$82,179 from the provisions of Proposition 2 1/2, so-called: 1. Create and provide an appropriation for the position of superintendent of buildings and create and provide appropriation for two pcsitions of full-time custodians; and 2. Amend the Personnel Administration Plan Appendix A to include two positions, Superintendent of Buildings, grade 14, and Building Custodian, grade 5; and 3. Raise and appropriate$82.179, to be apportioned as follows: Buildings Maintenance Department Personnel Services, $63,035; Employee Medical Insurance Account, $10,800; Group Insurance Account, $126; Medicare Account, $914; Pension Reserve Account, $6,304; and Buildings Maintenance Department Expense Account, $1.000; and 4. Appropriate and transfer to the Buildings Maintenance Department Personnel Services Account a total of $57,207 with $24,607 to be transferred from the Selectmen Maintenance Salary Account. $8,143 to be transferred from the Selectmen Personnel Services Account $19,952 to be transferred from the Police Maintenance Personnel Services Salary Account; and $4,505 from the Library Clerical Personnel Services Account;and 5. Appropriate and transfer to the Buildings Maintenance Department Expense Account a total of $26,619 with $11,000 to be transferred from the Town Hall Expense Account, $5,619 to be transferred from the Fire Expense Account, and$10,000 to be transferred from the DPW Municipal Buildings Maintenance Account. 6. Amend the Town By-Laws by deleting the wards "buildings and" from Section 2.11.2 Powers and Duties (of the Director of Public Works)so that said section shall state: "The Director of Public Works shall, under the direction of the Board of Selectmen, have full charge of all public ways, sidewalks, storm drains and maintenance of all Town grounds, except those lands under control of the r Conservation Commission," and Notion -c =_ccect as amended Raise ant aPprooriate 382, 179. . . . . suciect t0 2.� override Ballot. . . . . .
