TOWN OF MASHPEE Quorum 100 . . . . . . . .Voters present 153 SPECIAL TOWN MEETING a/ /4rT BARNSTABLE, ss : Greetings To the Constables of the Town : In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to meet at the Mashpee Middle School on Monday, the twenty-first day of August 1989 at 7 : 30 p . m . for the following purposes : To act on the Articles contained in the following Warrant : Article 1 . To see if the Town will vote to appropriate $ 152, 250 . 80 to Cape Harbor Development Corporation as reimbursement for the cost of construction of a municipal well and water testing on land owned by the Town, said payment having `b,en authorized by Chapter 72 of the Arts of 1989, and for said purpose, the Town appropriate and transfer $ 152, 250 . 80 from the Construction of Summerwood/Asher ' s Path Water System Account as authorized by said Chapter 72, Motion to accept as printed _ Transfer $152, 250 .80 frm the Construction of Summerwood/Ashers Path Water System Account. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .motion carries... . . . . . . 7 : 37P.M. Article 2 . To see if the Town will vote to reconstruct portions of Great Oak Road substantially as shown on a sketch plan entitled ' "Reconstruction of portions of Great Oak Road, " dated June 19 , 1989, a copy of which is on file with the Office of Town Clerk and for said purpose, and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the Town vote to raise and appropriate, appropriate and transfer from available funds , or appropriate and incur indebtedness $52, 000, and if indebtedness is authorized, the Treasurer, with approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow at one time or from time to time, $52, 000 under and pursuant, to Chapter 44, Section 7, of Massachusetts General Laws, or any other enabling authority, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town < therefore, and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or appropriate and transfer from available funds a sum of money to the Great Oak Road Repair Account to provide interest payments and debt issuance expenses, Motion to appropriate $52 , 000 . . . . borrow $52 , 000 transfer $1000 . from the Temporary Interest Inside 22 Account to the Great Oak Repair Account , , . . . .motion defeated . . . .a 2/3rds vote naaAaA . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 7 : 54 P.M.
