to exclude the principal and interest on such debt from the tax levy limitation imposed by Chapter 59 , Section 21C of the General Laws ( so-called Proposition 2 1/2 ); and further, to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money to the Purchase of Land, Map 36, Plot 34 Account to provide for interest and debt issuance expenses; further, to see if the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen and/or Conservation Commission to apply for and accept Federal and/or State grants , including reimbursement under Chapter 132A, Section 11 of the General Laws, to be applied by the Town toward the financing of this purchase, and to enter into contracts and agreements with Federal and/or State agencies , private conservation trusts , or other entities or persons in connection with the purchase of such land and preservation for conservation purposes of the specified portion of such land; and finally, to see if the Town will authorize the Conservation Commission and the Board of Selectmen to enter into agreements and execute any and all instruments as maybe necessary on behalf of the Town to effectuate said purchase; Motion to appropriate $115 , 000 Borrow $115, 000 Raise and appropriate $11 ,500 . . . . .subject to 22 override YES 34 . . . . . . .NO 87 . . . . . . .motion rdefeated. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .9 : 09 P.M.
