Town of Mashpee <br /> Annual Town Meeting <br /> MEETING CALLED TO ORDER AT 7: 48 PM. . . . .QUORUM 0. . . . .VOTERS PRESENT 472 <br /> Barnstable, ss: Greetings <br /> To the Constables of the Town, <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to <br /> notify and summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to <br /> vote in the elections to meet at the Mashpee Middle School on Monday, the 1st day <br /> of October 1990 at 7:30 p.m. for the following purposes: <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant. <br /> Article 1 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend the Zoning By-law as follows: <br /> Add to Subsection 174-3.A. the following new definition: <br /> DWELLING, ACCESSORY - A residence containing no more than one <br /> bedroom, which may have kitchen and bathroom facilities and other <br /> rooms which are not bedrooms, either attached to or detached from a <br /> principal residence on the same lot and not owned separately from the <br /> lot or principal residence. Such dwellings may not be occupied by more <br /> than two persons. <br /> Add to Subsection 174-25 "Table of Use Regulations" a new item 174-25A.(12) as <br /> follows, with the letters "SP" shown in the columns for all use districts: <br /> "(12) Accessory dwelling (allowed under Section 174-46, Open Space <br /> Incentive Development)" <br /> Replace Subsection 174-46B. (1) with the following: <br /> "(1) One-family detached dwellings and detached accessory dwellings, <br /> pursuant to the following provisions: <br /> (a) One lot for use by one one-family detached dwelling only may be <br /> created for each 1.5 residential units allowed by Subsection D, <br />• provided that said lot shall be serviced by a public or private <br /> wastewater treatment plant. Once created, said lot shall have no <br /> limit on number of bedrooms. <br />
