Article 12 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept, pursuant to General Laws <br /> Chapter 82, Sec. 21-24, the relocation and alteration of the layout of Great <br /> Oak Road as a public way as shown on a plan entitled "Roadway Easement Plan of <br /> Land, Mashpee, Massachusetts, prepared for the Town of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts" , revised 8/20/94, consisting of six (6) sheets, prepared by <br /> Bostwick Engineering, Inc. , which layout shall have been filed in the office <br /> of the Town Clerk not later than seven days prior to the date of the vote <br /> hereunder, and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, <br /> purchase or eminent domain taking any land necessary for the purposes of such <br /> way as so relocated and altered, and to raise and appropriate, transfer from <br /> available funds or borrow a sum or sums for such purchase or taking. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Motion: The Town will vote to accept, pursuant to General Laws Chapter 82, <br /> Sec. 21-24, the relocation and alteration of the layout of Great Oak Road as a <br /> public way as shown on a plan entitled "Roadway Easement Plan of Land, <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts, prepared for the Town of Mashpee, Massachusetts" , <br /> revised 8/20/94, consisting of six (6) sheets, prepared by Bostwick <br /> Engineering, Inc . , and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, <br /> purchase or eminent domain taking any land necessary for the purposes of such <br /> way as so relocated and altered. <br /> Recommendation: Planning Board recommends approval. <br /> Motion carries unanimously. . . . . . . . . .8:32 p.m. <br /> Article 13 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to <br /> acquire by purchase, gift, eminent domain, land exchange or otherwise, all or <br /> portions of the following parcels of land for municipal use, including <br /> construction of a high school and related facilities (map and block references <br /> are to the 1993 Mashpee Assessors ' Maps) : <br /> Map 72, Block 100, being approximately 6 acres located southeast of <br /> Old Barnstable Road; and further to authorize the Board of Selectmen to <br /> convey, pursuant to a sale or in exchange for land to be received by the Town <br /> as part of land swap, all or portions of the following parcels of land in <br /> connection with such acquisitions : <br /> Map 72, Block 100, being approximately 6 acres located southeast of <br /> Old Barnstable Road: <br /> Map 79, Block 17, being approximately 60 acres located southeast of <br /> Old Barnstable Road; all of said transactions to be upon such terms and <br /> conditions as the Selectmen deem proper; and to raise and appropriate, <br /> transfer from available funds or borrow a sum or sums for said acquisitions. <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br />
